Why I built it
Designers hoard inspiration: bookmarks in three browsers, screenshots in folders, links buried in notes apps. When you actually need that one reference, it is nowhere. I built Booker so everything lands on one visual shelf that organizes itself.
What it solves
Bookmarks rot. They pile up in browser folders with no previews, no context, and no way to find the thing you saved a month ago. Booker pulls them into one place, gives every save a rich visual card, and lets AI handle the tagging, grouping, and cleanup.
What it does
- On-device intelligence on Apple Silicon: tagging and categorization run locally, nothing leaves your Mac.
- Pulls saves from everywhere you collect: Chrome, Firefox, Arc, Dia, and Twitter.
- A built-in browser to open links without leaving the app, and clip any section of a page straight to the shelf.
- Auto-tagging and categorization into topics, collections, and moodboards.
- A beautifully designed detail page for every save, with similar items surfaced beside it.
- Grid and open canvas views, fully native macOS in SwiftUI.
Results
The newest of my native apps: 600+ of my own bookmarks already live on the shelf.
